The Last 100 – Spring Update May 2019

Well, it’s been a year since Terry passed away and it has been a time of a great deal of reflection and reminiscing for the whole family. We all miss him every day.

Terry’s last 100 pigeons are all healthy and are looking good (though I am sure he would be saying to me that “looking good is for show pigeons”..lol). They have all settled to a new routine well and they now know what I am about to do before even I do! Clever little bu’s. I didn’t breed over the winter as I decided not to race for a year or two while we get to grips with new family dynamics etc but I am keen to race again as soon as possible.

Also, it has taken me a little time to get to grips with the pedigrees of the Last 100. Terry always kept records (lots and lots of records!) but the records were kept in any one of three places. In any case, the records are now all together and, when I have time, I am trawling through them and gradually making sense of all the information. I will post as much as I can to the website but I can already see that it is, perhaps, likely to be many months (possibly years) before everything is on this website. I will have to take some more recent photos to post when I think about it.

Anyway, that’s all for now. Good luck for this racing season all!

Phil.
